One Nonprofit. Many Paths to Purpose.
Kapeesh Cares, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization empowering underserved communities—including veterans, youth, rural residents, and individuals rebuilding after addiction or incarceration—through entrepreneurship, education, and strategic support.
Our Mission
Kapeesh Cares, Inc. is a Texas-based nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting underserved communities—including youth, veterans, and economically disadvantaged individuals—through programs that promote entrepreneurship, education, and self-sufficiency.
We believe that with the right tools and support, anyone can build a path to freedom through ownership, opportunity, and impact.
Our Primary Initiative

The Sight Picture Project is our flagship initiative focused exclusively on combat veterans in crisis. Based in rural Wharton, Texas, this program helps veterans navigate VA benefits, stabilize their mental health, reduce financial burdens, and re-enter civilian life with dignity and purpose.
We believe that meeting basic needs is just the beginning. From there, we guide our veterans through healing, mentorship, and business ownership opportunities.
Veterans
Many combat veterans face isolation, untreated trauma, and financial instability when returning to civilian life. We help restore purpose and connection.
1 in 3 veterans report having difficulty adjusting to civilian life, and mental health challenges—like PTSD—can make traditional employment especially difficult.

Formerly Incarcerated
We believe in second chances—and third, if needed. Entrepreneurship offers dignity, income, and direction for individuals reentering society.
Formerly incarcerated individuals who start a business are 45% less likely to recidivate.

Rural Communities
Rural towns are full of potential but often overlooked. We bring access, education, and entrepreneurship to places left behind.
80% of rural counties lost small businesses between 2007 and 2019.

Youth
Young people need tools, not just rules. We equip future leaders with the skills to start and sustain their own ventures.
Youth in low-income communities are 4x less likely to have access to entrepreneurship education.

Recovering Addicts
Recovery is more than sobriety—it’s rebuilding life on purpose. We support individuals in recovery with real-world pathways to independence.
Employment is a key predictor of sustained recovery, yet over 60% of employers hesitate to hire those with a history of addiction.
